About Mel
From Izmir to the Washington, DC Area
Associate Broker with RE/MAX Realty Group, licensed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. Builder, stager and finance graduate, helping families move with confidence for more than two decades.

My story
I was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey, and have called the Washington, DC area home for many years. I studied business at Dokuz Eylül University in Turkey and earned my MBA in Finance in Washington, DC before starting my career in real estate.
Since then, I have built and renovated homes, trained as a staging professional, and helped hundreds of families across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC make their move.
Much of my business comes from past clients and the friends and family they refer to me.
Today I live in Northern Virginia and work across the whole region, from Montgomery County and Frederick to Fairfax, Arlington and the District. Whether you are buying your first home, selling a family house or relocating from abroad, I stay with you from the first conversation to the day you get the keys.
Fluent in English and Turkish.
How I work
Neighborhood first
We start with how you want to live: schools, commute, parks, community. The right house is much easier to find once the right neighborhood is clear.
A builder’s eye
Having built and renovated eight homes, I look past the paint. I can tell you what a repair really involves and which improvements pay back when you sell.
Numbers that make sense
With an MBA in Finance, I walk you through pricing, offers and costs clearly, so every decision is based on facts rather than pressure.
